Currently, there is no bus from Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi. However, you can take a bus from My Dinh bus station to Ha Giang, get off the bus at Bac Quang T junction, and take another to Vinh Quang town (Hoang Su Phi). You can ask the driver to help you with this. It will be about 58km from Bac Quang to Vinh Quang town.

- Travel time: 6 - 9 hours (depending on different bus)
- Schedule: 4.00 AM – 12.00 AM for the morning bus. And from 19.30 to 21.30 for a night bus
- Advantages: Low cost

3. Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi by Motorbike
This is the vehicle that many young tourists are interested in. Especially, for those who are adventurous and love the thrilling experience. For the trip by motorbike from Hanoi to Ha Giang, tourists need to well prepare their equipment, including the motorbike repair tools, as there are not many motorbike repair shops on the way.

- Travel route: Hanoi center – National Road N0 2 to Tan Quang, Keep driving to Road 177 to Hoang Su Phi.
