Shan Tuyet Thong Nguyen only grows on high mountains, with an average altitude of 800 - 1,300 m above sea level.
If people want to harvest, they must quickly pick up the fresh, young tops and a harvest trip should not last more than 6 hours because after that, the tea's quality will be reduced. Moreover, harvesters must not apply perfume or medicated oil because it will affect the taste of the tea. Shan Tuyet tea has a special flavor and is considered a product of God given to good people.
