How to Get from Hanoi to Pu Luong ?

1. Travel from Hanoi to Pu Luong by local bus

Recently, not many buses have gone directly from Hanoi to Pu Luong. Mostly, the buses pick up passengers at My Dinh, Giap Bat, and Yen Nghia bus stations and drop them off at Canh Nang town (Ba Thuoc). Then, they take a taxi or motorbike taxi to Pu Luong (12 – 15 km) or catch the local bus from Hanoi to Mai Chau (Mai Chau is about 45km from Pu Luong) and then take other buses from Mai Chau to Pu Luong. That would be better.

From Hanoi to Pu Luong, the distance is about 170km. This is not too far to go by motorbike and is great for adventurous people. However, note that the motorbike must be really good for this route. You can rent a good motorbike for a great experience.
