3/ Hanoi to Cat Ba by train
You will take the train from Hanoi to Hai Phong. Then take a taxi to Binh port to take a hydrifoild to Cat Ba or to Got ferry to take a ferry / high-speed train to Cai Vieng.
From there, tourist will do as “ Step 2 and Step 3” as in Hanoi to Cat Ba by local bus

- Travel time: 2.5 hours
- Departure at: Long Bien Railway station
- Arrive at: Hai Phong Railway station
- Advantages: Experience train in Vietnam, enjoy the landscapes 2 sites of the railway.

It is easy to book a taxi and the cost will be calculated following the meter. If get the wrong taxi or unlicensed taxi, tourist have to pay a lot for fare. Price for transfer Hanoi to Cat Ba is about 2.500.000 VND/way. Not many tourists choose this option.
5/ Hanoi to Cat Ba by motorbike
