World's Best Hotels in Vietnam: The 2025 Acclaimed List

In 2025, Vietnam is increasingly establishing itself as a premier hotel destination on the international stage. This year, numerous establishments across the country have been honoured with prestigious accolades, including the World Travel Awards and the Michelin Guide, as well as recognition from renowned publications such as Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveller.

For the first time, the Michelin Guide unveiled its global hotel rankings through the Michelin Key distinction. On this occasion, 13 Vietnamese hotels were selected, showcasing the excellence of local hospitality. Among them, two establishments achieved the highest honour of Three Michelin Keys: Capella Hanoi, in the heart of the capital, and the exceptional Amanoi, nestled between the sea and nature in Khanh Hoa.

Capella Hanoi, Hanoi

Located on Le Phung Hieu Street, just 500 metres from Hoan Kiem Lake, Capella Hanoi is a prestigious hotel designed by the celebrated architect Bill Bensley. The establishment draws inspiration from the world of 1920s opera houses, blending classic elegance with artistic creativity. The hotel features 47 rooms and suites, ranging from 35 to 194 square metres, all featuring balconies. Each room boasts a unique design and tells a different story, paying homage to opera artists through intricate architectural details and interior décor. In 2025, Capella Hanoi was also voted the Best Hotel in Vietnam by Condé Nast Traveller and earned a five-star rating in the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards.

Amanoi Resort, Khanh Hoa

Amanoi Resort, situated in Khanh Hoa province, is nestled in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Nui Chua National Park. Beyond a luxurious stay, travellers can enjoy numerous nature-filled experiences: trekking to the summit to admire the sunrise, hiking in the national park, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding (SUP), or a private beach picnic. The resort offers 44 guest pavilions, ranging from one to five bedrooms, each spanning several hundred square metres with vast, airy spaces.

The Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, located in Da Nang, was awarded Two Michelin Keys and a five-star rating at the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards. The five-star classification is the highest level of recognition from the famous American travel guide, reserved for hotels deemed exceptional and iconic, offering impeccable service and high-end facilities. Set on Ha My Beach, the resort draws inspiration from local culture and enjoys an ideal location near UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Hoi An Ancient Town, the former imperial capital of Hue, and the My Son Sanctuary. The resort features 100 luxury villas, ranging from one to five bedrooms.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, Khanh Hoa

Overlooking Ninh Van Bay, the resort offers total immersion in nature, with thatched-roof villas allowing guests to admire the landscape directly from their bed or bathtub. The site also houses a conservation area dedicated to protecting endangered monkey species. On-site, guests can enjoy activities such as hiking, seaside picnics, fishing, and sunset cruises.

InterContinental Sun Peninsula Resort, Da Nang

This resort was voted Vietnam's Best Island & Beach Resort 2025 by Travel + Leisure, Best Hotel in Vietnam 2025 by Condé Nast Traveller, and Asia's Leading Luxury Resort at the World Travel Awards. Spanning 39 hectares, the resort is nestled on a hillside in the Son Tra Peninsula Nature Reserve. It offers 201 rooms and suites discreetly integrated into the forest, all with sea views. The establishment also boasts a 700-metre private beach. Furthermore, it houses a Michelin-starred restaurant, the first in Da Nang to receive this distinction.

Note: The original text mentions Dak Lak, but this resort is located in Phu Yen. Zannier Bai San Ho received Two Michelin Keys and features in the Top 50 Best Hotels in the World 2025 by The Telegraph Hotel Awards. It was also selected in the Top 100 Best Hotels in Asia-Pacific by Tatler Asia. Designed as a coastal village in Song Cau, the resort comprises villas inspired by traditional architecture, scattered across a hill with breathtaking sea views. The communal areas, decorated with antiques and artworks, create an elegant yet authentic atmosphere.

JW Marriott Emerald Bay Resort & Spa ranked first in the category of Best Hotel Pool in Vietnam 2025 at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia-Pacific. It also features among the best resorts in the world according to Condé Nast Traveler. Often compared to a true tropical paradise, the resort stands out with three spectacular pools. The most iconic, "Shell," is an adult-only pool shaped like a seashell, adorned with shimmering mosaics and a retro style. This is complemented by the "Sun" pool facing the sea and the "Sand" pool dedicated to children. For more privacy, travellers can opt for villas with private pools.

Anantara Hoi An Resort was named Vietnam's Best Upcountry Hotel 2025 by Travel + Leisure. Located on the banks of the Thu Bon River, just a few minutes' walk from the UNESCO-listed Hoi An Ancient Town, the establishment harmoniously blends classical architecture with contemporary comfort. Travellers can participate in various cultural activities, such as floating lantern releases, basket boat rides, or local culinary experiences. Anantara Hoi An is also among the first establishments to use 3D printing technology for the artistic presentation of certain dishes.

Travel experts worldwide describe the Metropole as a symbol of French colonial elegance, combined with warm and refined hospitality. The hotel has over 350 rooms.

The architecture celebrates local craftsmanship and natural materials such as rammed earth, river stone, and recycled wood. The 1,500 m² Son Tinh Wellness Sanctuary is hidden in the heart of a lush tropical garden. It includes eight treatment rooms and four VIP suites inspired by the elements of earth, water, wood, and fire. Available programmes include detox and physical recovery, alongside a saltwater pool, a yoga centre, and a gym.

La Siesta Classic Hanoi climbed to 12th place in the Top 25 Best Hotels in the World 2025 by Tripadvisor, one of the most prestigious rankings in the Travellers' Choice Best of the Best Awards. This boutique hotel, located in the heart of the Old Quarter, has 70 rooms, most with balconies. The establishment is notable for its sky bar offering panoramic views of the old town, with the Long Bien Bridge as a highlight. On special occasions, guests can even watch fireworks over Hoan Kiem Lake.

These accolades confirm not only the diversity of Vietnam's hotel offering but also the country’s constant move upmarket, capable of seducing the most demanding international travellers in search of unique and authentic experiences.
