It is available to travel by train from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. This is the way which less people know but it will bring many interesting things. You can book ticket online or book directly at Railway station. There are 4 -5 trains per day.

This is the convenient way to travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Even, it is not the best choice because of the price. It is mostly the same as the price car ( about 1.200.000 – 1.500.000 VND)
Travel time: 2 hours – private driver. Even, not really the professional services.
If you are unlucky, you may get the unlicensed taxi, you will pay more than the reality. Therefore, not many tourists choose this way.
