1. Tan Thanh Beach
It’s a beach where you cannot swim, it has sand but does not have the familiar color of yellow or white like that of Thuan An Beach. This strange thing is the factor that turns this beach into the strangest destination in Tien Giang.
The sand in Tan Thanh Beach is a rare type of black sand in Vietnam. When dusk falls, the tide recedes to reveal an endless space of fine black sand, creating a scene that is completely different from other beaches in Vietnam.
There is also a 300m bridge extending out to the sea where tourists can take a walk and enjoy the wonderful scenery.
2. Vinh Trang Pagoda
Traveling to Tien Giang, you must not miss Vinh Trang Pagoda - the largest pagoda in Tien Giang. The pagoda was built in the early 19th century with a harmonious combination of Eastern and Western architecture.
Looking from the outside, it looks like a foreign temple, but going inside, the decoration with Buddha statues and dragon and phoenix motifs winding everywhere brings people right back to the familiar Buddhist space in Vietnamese culture.
3. Cai Be Floating Market
Floating markets are a quite familiar form of living in the Mekong Delta region. In Can Tho, we have Cai Rang and Phong Dien while in Tien Giang, we have Cai Be floating market - the symbol of the combination between the locals and nature here.
Unlike other floating markets in the western region of Vietnam, Cai Be market opens from early morning until late at night. Tourists can come here at any time of the day.
4. Thoi Son Island
If you want to experience the vast landscape of Tien Giang's river gardens and see how it differs from other areas, you should definitely visit Thoi Son Island.

5. Dong Tam Snake Farm
Dong Tam snake farm, also known as Military Region 9 pharmaceutical factory, is a tourist destination in Tien Giang province dedicated to those who love this reptile. This is one of the largest snake farms in Vietnam and is also considered the first snake museum in the country.
The farm is home to 400 species of snakes, from gentle non-poisonous snakes to extremely poisonous snakes. Snakes here are raised freely, including 3 areas suitable to the nature of each species: lake island style area, venomous snake area, and python area.
6. Vinh Kim Fruit Garden
When mentioning the Mekong Delta region's cuisine during flood season, we cannot ignore the fruit gardens. Tien Giang, as well as many other provinces in the Mekong Delta region, is naturally gifted with all the best conditions to grow fruit trees and Vinh Kim is Tien Giang’s largest fruit garden.
This place is the motherland of many types of fruit, but the most favored is probably the star apple. Lo Ren Vinh Kim's star apple with plump fruits, juicy skin, and sweet and delicious taste is the pride of the people of Vinh Kim and Tien Giang.
7. My Thuan Bridge
As the first cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam, My Thuan Bridge spans the Tien River, connecting the two provinces of Tien Giang and Vinh Long. The bridge is located on National Highway 1A, the main traffic axis of the Mekong Delta, 123 km southwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This bridge is always mentioned as an economic-cultural symbol of Tien Giang province.
Visitors can come here in the morning to see the unique cable-stayed architecture or in the evening to admire the flashing LED lights.
8. Man Dinh Hong Flower Garden
With an area of 1.1 hectares, the Man Dinh Hong flower garden includes many different types of flowers such as sunflowers, canola flowers, Man Dinh Hong flowers, cosmos, etc.
Man Dinh Hong Flower Garden is located more than 3 km from Trung Luong junction in the direction of My Tho to My Thuan, nestled among the fruit gardens of Phuoc Thuan hamlet, Phuoc Thanh commune, My Tho City.
9. Linh Thuu Pagoda
Linh Thuu Pagoda's full name is Sac Tu Linh Thuu, often called Sac Tu Pagoda, known as an ancient pagoda, once granted a decree by King Gia Long of the Nguyen Dynasty.
The pagoda also preserves many ancient statues, the Great Bell (dated 1745), elaborately carved lamellas, and many parallel sentences with Buddhist meaning. The pagoda attracts not only Buddhists but also many visitors from all over the world to enjoy its unique architecture.
10. Cai Be Church
If Phat Diem Cathedral is known for its Asian design style, Cai Be Church makes people unable to take their eyes off the ancient Roman architecture. The church was built in 1929-1932 in Roman architectural style and made of reinforced concrete and cast stone and still retains its dreamy ancient beauty.
The exterior and interior of the church are beautifully designed, in addition to the strange, precious marble altars that have appeared in many photos of young people.
11. Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen Monastery
The Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen monastery is similar to Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Da Lat, but much larger because it is located in the low-lying area of Dong Thap Muoi, so it had to be built on a 3.7m high dike system to prevent floods.
The monastery has a total area of 50 hectares, including the original 30 hectares and an additional 20 hectares donated by the people with the architecture of 4 Buddhist relics following the traditional model of Zen monasteries of the Truc Lam Yen Tu sect.
On the third Sunday of every month, the Zen monastery organizes ashram activities with a large number of Buddhists from near and far attending, including activities such as chanting sutras, repenting, listening to Dharma lectures, and meditating.
12. Cai Be Garden
Cai Be Fruit Garden is the most diverse fruit garden in the Western region of Vietnam. The garden has 4 seasons of fruit, each season has different kinds of fruit. Therefore, whenever visitors come to Cai Be, they will be welcomed with a whole garden full of many delicious ripe fruits.
