Thuan An Beach, located in Thuan An town, is one of the most beautiful white-sand beaches in Hue.
Also called “the muse of Hue”, Thuan An Beach is known for its wild beauty with its white smooth sandy beach and crystal blue water. What’s special about it is that Thuan An Beach lies right at the spot where the Huong River flows into the sea.

Thuan An coastline stretches over 10km with 3 main beaches. They are all public beaches so you can come and get wet whenever you want. The tranquil and crystal-clear water would definitely satisfy your craving for vitamin sea. Thuan An Hue Beach is only located about 15km from Hue city center, taking about 20 minutes to travel by car.
However, you might have an eyeful of more than just the beach views because the whole scenery will change as it switches from sunrise to sunset.

Han Mac Tu was a pioneer of modern Vietnamese romantic poetry. He was a great journalist and an extraordinary poet in Vietnam. Unfortunately, he suffered from leprosy and left this world when he was only 28. "Here the Vi Da Village" is one of his most loved creations writing about the love of his home, his people, and his life. This village is located on the outskirts of Hue City, only 15km from Thuan An beach, which could be a recommendation for romanticists.
A trip to Thuan An Beach is not completed without tasting every best dish here, from the fresh seafood (obviously) to Hue specialties such as rice dumpling cake, grilled meat vermicelli, pressed cake… and don’t forget the Chuon village, with its famous craft of making the wine of the kings that is more than 600 years old, is located right next to Tam Giang Lagoon.
Its sticky rice wine here was once known as "the greatest wine of the land".
