2.3. The Impressive System of Stalactites and Stalagmites

Upon entering the cave, you will surely be left speechless by the glittering and magnificent beauty of thousand-year-old stalactites and stalagmites. Moreover, the cave is decorated with images of cultural symbols of the region, and many stone structures are made in the shape of terraced fields. In the center of the cave are the shape of rice paddies representing Vietnam's wet rice civilization along with wonderful stalactites in the shape of Champa tower.

It also has the palace of Quang Ham where the hanging stalactites remind people of a crystal curtain. What’s special is the lotus tower with a unique figure whose shape can change according to the viewing angle of the viewers.

3. The Difference Between the Paradise Cave and other caves

Quang Binh itself has the beautiful Kieu Cave and Vietnam also has many famous caves such as Nguom Ngao Cave, Mua Cave, the 7 Magnificent Halong Bay Caves, or the world's largest cave - Son Doong. But Paradise Cave possesses the following characteristics that these cave doesn’t have:

  • There is the longest dry cave in Asia with an artificial wooden bridge system to help ensure safety during the visit.

  • The 1000m long wooden way system is recognized as the longest wooden bridge in a cave in Asia.

  • The cave contains the most beautiful shimmering and fanciful stalactites and stalagmites in Asia.

Reading about it a hundred times is not as good as seeing it with your own eyes once. So IZITour wholeheartedly recommends you add exploring Quang Binh Paradise Cave to the list of things to do in Quang Binh.
