Hello, I am a Nigerian citizen but based in Indonesia. I would like to make enquiries on whether VOA is available for Nigerians to enter into Vietnam at this time. I was told in March while I was still in Canada that Nigerian citizens cannot get visa into Vietnam, but I am looking for update and would like to confirm if the border is open for Nigerian citizens and VOA is now available. Please kindly send me an email as I plan to visit Vietnam in July. Regards

  • Dear Ade,
Thank you for your message. From middle March 2022, our country opened the border and tourists could travel to Vietnam. However, our goverment just opens the Evisa for only 80 countries. Till now, the VOA is still closed. We do not have any information when we could apply VOA again.
Thanks and have a nice day!

  • Dear Sir,
We are sorry that due to the Covid 19, our government still closes the border and has not approved any Visa services yet. We hope you can arrange your time to come back with us one the pandemic is over. In general, you will have to book a full package tour with a legal travel agency in Vietnam. Otherwise, you could not get Vietnam visa.
Stay safe and enjoy your time.
