2. What's Special at Dragon May Glass Bridge?
Rong May Glass Bridge owns the first glass elevator in Vietnam with a height of more than 300m to conquer the top of O Quy Ho mountain. The glass bridge and elevator system of the glass bridge are built according to international standards, so visitors will be guaranteed safety in all conditions. The elevator will take visitors closer to the clouds and immerse themselves in nature, where they can see the majestic Fansipan mountain peak amid the Northwest mountain, the forest landscape, and especially the whole beauty of Sapa in winter.
In addition, when stepping out of the elevator, you will have immediate access to a transparent glass bridge reaching out from the cliff 60m, with a glass bridge system longer than 500m attached to the rocky cliff at an altitude of more than 1000m compared to the height of the mountain, which will bring visitors both heart-stopping and wonderful experiences.
The glass bridge system reaches 60m away from the cliff. The walkway is about 5m wide, and the base is made entirely of transparent tempered glass consisting of 3 layers glued to the sandstone cliffs of Hoang Lien Son range and is 600m long. Because the bridge system is made according to international standards, it can withstand the weight of nearly 3,000 people at a time, but in order to be comfortable during the visit, a maximum of 500 guests are allowed at a time.
3. Some Notes When Visiting Rong May Glass Bridge
Glass bridge railings are not fully glassed but are made of metal, the railings are not too high, so you need to stay calm when at a "huge" height and avoid moving too close to the railing area.
You should use the provided foot covers to avoid scratching the glass surface of the bridge.
If you feel worried, please ask the staff here to accompany you because the bridge is extremely high so you might inevitably lose your temper during the tour.
You should not stay on the glass bridge when things get dark because it will be difficult to move, and moving from this tourist area to Sapa town will also be more difficult.
