Located just 8km from Halong International Port, easily accessible by taxi in a 15-minute ride, the Quang Ninh Museum entices visitors with its distinctive design and extensive collection of historical artifacts. Since its establishment in 2013, the museum has attracted over 50,000 visitors, showcasing the enduring charm of this hidden gem near Ha Long Bay.
Opening hours and ticket price
The Quang Ninh Museum is open every day of the week from 8:00 AM to 12 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, except the last Monday of the month. If you wish to visit outside of regular hours, please make a reservation at least two days in advance.

Children: 10,000 VND per person (free for children under 6 years old).

The first floor - The Nature and Marine Life
The first floor of the Quang Ninh Museum invites visitors on a journey to discover the region's stunning natural beauty. A notable feature of this floor is the four large pillars wrapped in fabric, reminiscent of the majestic limestone karsts found in Ha Long Bay – Quang Ninh's iconic tourist destination.
Enhanced by subtle lighting effects, the exhibition space of the marine life comes alive, offering visitors a captivating experience akin to wandering through the enchanting landscapes of Ha Long Bay.
The second floor - Artifact display
The second floor of the Quang Ninh Museum resembles a giant ship, showcasing the province's rich history and culture. Visitors are taken on a journey through time, from prehistoric eras to modern times, with valuable archaeological artifacts on display.

3.1. Bai Chay Bridge
For panoramic views of the city, visit Bai Chay Bridge near Quang Ninh Museum. This architectural marvel connects the bustling areas of Bai Chay and Hon Gai with its graceful design and twin towers.
