1. Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark
Covering a total area of 3,275 km2, or almost half of Cao Bang province, the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark is recognized by UNESCO as a Global Geopark. Its existence is a living testimony to the history of Cao Bang's terrestrial development dating back over 500 million years. 2. Ban Gioc Waterfall
It would be a shame to miss out on the Ban Gioc waterfall on your trip to Cao Bang. Located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, it is reputed to be the most beautiful waterfall in Southeast Asia. On the trip to Ban Gioc, you will see a majestic 35-meter-high waterfall with a three-tiered structure.

3. King Le's Temple
King Le Temple is located in Na lu Citadel, Hoang Tung commune, Hoa An district district, Cao Bang. King Le Temple was built in the style of a triangle with three small houses and seven rooms. As you enter, you will admire the decorations full of dragon and phoenix sculptures.
4. Nguom Boc Cave
Belonging to the administrative territory of Hong Viet municipality and close to the King Le temple, Nguom Boc cave is a natural cave formed by limestone mountains. To reach the entrance of Nguom Boc, you have to walk a long way of about 100 meters. Once inside, there's a path taking you to discover the whole cave.
5. Tay Ethnic Minority Village
Weaving is one of Cao Bang's distinctive traditional activities, it is the daily work of the Tay woman. Today, brocade weaving is still well maintained in Phu Ngoc commune, Ha Quang District. You can visit Tay handicraft villages to admire the handmade textiles with their varied and unique designs.
6. Pac Bo Historical Relics Complex
It is a place linked to President Ho Chi Minh's years of revolution in Cao Bang. The Pac Bo relic complex offers you the chance to visit Ho Chi Minh's memorial or take photos of Lenin Creek where Uncle Ho often relaxed and recited poetry in his spare time. You can also explore the Coc Bo cave, which was Uncle Ho's residence during his revolutionary activities in the mountainous region.
7. Phia Thap Incense Sticks Village
The traditional incense-stick village of Phia Thap has a long story in Quang Uyen, Cao Bang. Its villagers generally wake up at 5:00 or 6:00 in the morning to begin their work. The incense-making process begins with drying the Calabash leaves, cutting the rattan, and finally trying the incense.

8. Tran Hung Dao Forest
Tran Hung Dao Forest is the next stop on the journey to Cao Bang. Located at the foot of Slam Cao Mountain in Nguyen Binh District, Tran Hung Dao Forest was chosen as the founding side of the Armed Propaganda Brigade for the Liberation of Vietnam in 1944.
When you come here you will immediately feel the cool and peaceful atmosphere. What's more, you can try climbing 500 mossy stone steps to reach the hut of the Armed Propaganda Brigade for the Liberation of Vietnam and watch the water mine and some old trees.
9. Kolia Tea Plantation
The Kolia tea plantation is located in Phia Den village, Thanh Cong commune, Nguyen Binh District, at an altitude of over 1,300 meters. You will enjoy the delicate fragrance of fresh green tea leaves at the Kolia Tea Plantation, and admire the overlapping mountain landscapes in the mist. The distinctive flavor of Collier tea is gonna be worth the taste.
10. Nguom Ngao Cave
The Nguom Ngao cave, located in the majestic mountains of Gun village, Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh District, is assured to amaze you with its system of stalactites of various shapes and sizes.
When the sun reaches the inside of Nguom Ngao, the entire cave is as beautiful as a luxurious palace. The distance between the Ban Gioc waterfall and the Nguom Ngao cave is only about 3 km, so it's best to combine a visit to these two sides.

11. God's Eye Mountain (Thung Mountain)
Thung Mountain or God's Eye Mountain is the name of a strange mountain located in Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh District. The origin of this name comes from a hole between the two sides of the mountain.
Standing 50 meters high, it was formed by Rock movements during the Neotectonic period. From the top of God's eye Mountain, looking off into the distance, you will see green grasses, winding wheat fields of Ban Danh village, and the poetic Nam Tra Lake.
12. Thang Hen Lake
A famous scenic spot in Quoc Toan commune, Tra Linh District, Thang Hen is a natural freshwater lake at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,700 m above sea level. It has thus become the highest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam.
When you visit Thang Hen Lake in Cao Bang, you will have the opportunity not only to admire the living ink-panting but also to discover the romantic love stories associated with the legend of the lake.
13. Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village
The Phuc Sen Blacksmith village in Quang Uyen district is one of Cao Bang's typical traditional craft villages. To date, there is no precise information on the establishment of the Phuc Sen village, but it is assumed that it was established 20 years ago. A visit to the Phuc Sen Village may be just the right thing to make your journey through the mountainous Northeast region even more interesting.
