Bassac Mekong Cruise | Can Tho - Tra On - Can Tho 2 days 1 night

8:00 AM: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and transfer you to Can Tho City (additional charges apply). Enjoy the scenic drive through small towns, countryside villages, and lush green fields along the way. The transfer takes about 4 hours, with an optional stop en route.

Boarding begins at Can Tho's Ninh Kieu pier at noon. Guests are welcomed with a drink and introduced to the ship and crew before checking into their cabins. Departure follows downstream along the Hau River, with lunch served on board during the journey.

As the ship turns into the Nicolai Canal, it heads towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien rivers. Guests can relax on the upper deck, taking in the picturesque scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, and woods lining the riverbanks. 

By mid-afternoon, the Bassac anchors for a shore visit: guests can opt for a tranquil exploration of delta countryside life, wandering among rice fields, fruit trees, and engaging with friendly locals, or choose a short cycling tour of the surrounding area.

Returning to the ship, guests are greeted with a complimentary drink before relaxing on the deck to enjoy the sunset. Dinner is served as the Bassac cruises along the Mang Thit River, anchoring downstream from Tra On for the night.  

The boat departs at 6:00 AM and cruises towards Can Tho. Breakfast will be available at 7:00 AM. 

Upon arrival in Can Tho, transfer to a local boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market. Afterward, visit a small bamboo basket workshop before returning to the Ninh Kieu pier. 

The cruise will conclude by mid-morning on shore in Can Tho.
