Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and transfer you to Cai Be (additional charges apply). Enjoy the scenic drive through small towns, countryside villages, and lush green fields along the way. The transfer takes about 3 hours, with an optional stop en route.
Board the ship at Cai Be at noon. Enjoy a welcome drink, an introduction to the ship and crew, and check into your cabin.
Depart towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River.
Lunch will be served while en route. Relax on the deck as you sail.
The Bassac will slip into the Cho Lach canal, amidst the hustle and bustle of river traffic, passing by markets and churches. This is a unique opportunity to glimpse the diverse life along the banks and on the water.
By mid-afternoon, the Bassac will anchor for a shore visit. After passing the first tree line, you can quietly explore the peaceful life of the delta's countryside, including rice fields, fruit trees, and friendly locals. Alternatively, you can take a short cycling tour of the surrounding area.
Reboard the ship and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink. Relax on the deck and take in the sunset.
Dinner will be served as the Bassac cruises the Mang Thit River.
The Bassac will anchor just downstream from Tra On for the night.
The boat departs at 6:00 AM and cruises towards Can Tho. Breakfast will be available at 7:00 AM.
Upon arrival in Can Tho, transfer to a local boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market. Afterward, visit a small bamboo basket workshop before returning to the Ninh Kieu pier.
The cruise will conclude by mid-morning on shore in Can Tho.
