Hanoi - Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay
Embark at Tuan Chau, cruise to Lan Ha bay, explore Dark & Bright cave by kayak or bamboo boat.
If transport is included, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the heart of Hanoi. From there, we’ll begin our journey to Halong City, enjoying a scenic drive through the picturesque Red River Delta. The trip takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, with a convenient stop along the way for restrooms if needed.
11:45 - 12:00: Board our boat at Tuan Chau Port, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a cruise briefing and safety instructions.
13:15 - 14:00: After the welcome aboard, lunch will be served as we cruise towards the bay.
15:30: The crew will take passengers to visit the Dark and Bright Cave, also known as Bat Cave. It's renowned not only for its stunning limestone structures at every turn but also for its interesting natural habitat. The best way to explore this cave is by kayaking or taking a bamboo sampan ride, guided by local people through the tunnel. You'll spend most of your time relaxing and enjoying the quiet and natural surroundings.
16:30: Return to the cruise to enjoy swimming in the bay.
17:45: Depart and cruise for about 30 minutes to anchor overnight.
18:15: Attend the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef will demonstrate fruit and vegetable carving, showing guests how to decorate and prepare some traditional Vietnamese dishes.
19:15: Dinner is served.
20:30: Evening activities include board games like cards or Parcheesi, and guests can also try their luck at squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew.

06:00: Enjoy a continental breakfast with coffee, tea, and pastries served in the restaurant.
06:30: Participate in a 30-minute Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck.
07:15: Cruise crew takes guests to visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island.
09:00: Upon returning to the boat, guests will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please collect all of your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier).
09:30: Enjoy brunch in the restaurant. Bills are settled after brunch. Relax on the sundeck or in the restaurant enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.
11:00: Arrive at Indochina Sails’ Pier at Tuan Chau Port.
Our driver will greet you at the Cruise Waiting Lounge and transfer you to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, with a restroom stop available along the way (optional).
