Hanoi - Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay 170km - 4h
Travel to Cat Ba island, embark at Beo port, cruise to Lan Ha bay.
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: If you book a transfer with us (either a shuttle bus or a private car), our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or from our designated shuttle bus stop. We'll then begin a scenic journey to Cat Ba Island. The transfer time is approximately 2-3 hours, including reaching Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. From there, you'll board a ferry that will take you across the bay, followed by another short drive to Cat Ba Island.
12:00 – 12:10: Our Ocean Cruise team warmly welcomes you at Cai Beo Cruise Port and assists with embarkation.
12:30 – 13:00: Settle into your cabin, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a short briefing about the cruise program and safety regulations.
13:15 – 14:30: Lunch is served as the cruise begins its journey into Lan Ha Bay. Relax and admire the peaceful scenery and striking limestone formations along the way.
15:00 – 17:00: As the cruise sails deeper into the bay, we visit Ba Trai Dao or Dau Be (subject to weather conditions). During this time, you will learn more about the bay’s geography and natural features. You may choose to kayak closer to the towering limestone karsts or take a tender boat to explore the surrounding area. Weather permitting, you can also swim in the clear emerald waters or unwind on the untouched beach, enjoying the calm atmosphere of Lan Ha Bay.
17:30 – 19:15: Return to the cruise for relaxation time on the sundeck. A Vietnamese traditional cooking demonstration takes place before dinner is served on board.
After dinner: Enjoy a free evening to relax on the sundeck, sip a drink at the bar, or take part in evening activities such as squid fishing or kayaking to observe plankton.

Explore Viet Hai village by bicycle or electric car, travel back to Hanoi.
Around 05:00: Wake up early to admire the peaceful sunrise over Lan Ha Bay.
06:30 – 07:00: Start the day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, breathing in the fresh morning air.
07:00 – 07:50: Enjoy tea or coffee and breakfast in the Vietnamese-style dining area while the cruise heads toward Viet Hai Village.
08:00 – 09:30: Explore Viet Hai Village by bicycle or electric car, discovering local life in a quiet fishing village surrounded by lush greenery and a refreshing natural atmosphere.
10:00: Check out of your cabin. The cruise starts sailing back toward Cai Beo Cruise Port while a set lunch is served on board.
11:45 – 12:00: Disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port.
If the transfer is included, our driver will pick you up at the pier. From there, we will return to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 1 hour to reach Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. From there, you will board the ferry to cross the bay, followed by another 2-hour drive to arrive back in Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.

Fantastic !
A fantastic short getaway! Everything exceeded our expectations. The crew, especially Tony, made the trip smooth and enjoyable. The cabin was spotless and quite spacious, with a small balcony to enjoy the bay views. The meals were superb, generous portions and full of flavour. We particularly enjoyed the night squid fishing and sunrise Tai Chi. Highly recommended if you want something more intimate and less touristy.

Great cruise
We had an unforgettable overnight cruise with Cozy Boutique. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, and the sea view from the large window was simply stunning. The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to enjoy each activity, especially the kayaking through caves which felt magical. Food was consistently excellent, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. A special thanks to Sinh, our host, who went above and beyond. Highly recommended!

Cozy Boutique Cruise was such a pleasant surprise. The boat is modern and very clean, with comfortable cabins and fantastic views from the bed. The itinerary includes a mix of relaxation and activities, we especially loved biking through Viet Hai village and the spring roll making session. The crew was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout. Definitely worth doing the 2-night trip if you can.
