Visit the Cham Towers of Poshanu
Until the 15th century, the coastline of Central Vietnam was the territory of the Champa kingdom, a civilization that influenced the political and cultural history of all Southeast Asia. Around the cities, the Cham kings built temples where many gods of the great Indian religions were worshipped. A multitude of religious buildings are still present on the central coast of Vietnam and testify today to the material and spiritual wealth of the country. Located only 7 kilometres from Mui Ne, the Cham Towers of Poshanu are a beautiful excursion that allows you to discover a well-preserved 8th century archaeological site dedicated to Shiva. This complex perched on a hill overlooking the mouth of the Phan Thiêt River and composed of two towers and a small temple, is a remarkable example of the artistic mastery of the Cham people.
