Visit the South Gate, featuring massive statues depicting the Churning of the Ocean of Milk, and explore the Bayon Temple, renowned for its 54 towers adorned with over 200 serene, smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. Continue to Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Next, visit Ta Prohm, one of the most atmospheric temples in Angkor. Left largely in its natural state, it is entwined with giant tree roots, preserving its mystical charm.

In the afternoon, explore Angkor Wat, the most famous and well-preserved temple in Angkor. Covering 81 hectares, it rivals the size of the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its iconic five towers, featured on the Cambodian flag, make it a symbol of national pride. This 12th-century masterpiece is considered the pinnacle of classical Khmer architecture.
Enjoy a stunning sunset from the summit of Bakheng Hill, where panoramic views over the Angkor plains make it a favorite spot to witness the golden light of day’s end.

In the morning, enjoy a leisurely stroll around Banteay Samre, a 12th-century temple from the Angkor period, admired for its peaceful atmosphere. Take some beautiful photos before heading to the intricately carved red-pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei - often referred to as the “Jewel of Khmer Art” for its elaborate decorations and exquisite details. These artistic features have made the temple one of the most beloved and praised monuments in Cambodia.
On the way back, stop at Preah Dak village for a short visit. Here, you’ll observe authentic Cambodian daily life, learn how locals produce traditional handmade goods, and see how sugar palm and its fruits are processed.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the lakeside village of Kampong Khleang, located about 40 kilometers from Siem Reap and still untouched by mass tourism. Life on the water is an art the Khmer people have perfected over generations. Here, traditional stilt houses rise above the water, surrounded by breathtaking scenery - flooded plains, endless stretches of water, and vibrant green rice fields that shimmer in the sunlight.
