08:00 - 08:30: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at the Shuttle Bus stop if you stay outside the Old Quarter of Hanoi. We'll then head to Halong city, enjoying the rural landscape along the way.

11:30: Arrive at Tuan Chau port and complete the check-in procedures at the waiting lounge.

12:15: Transfer to Orchid Cruises via a tender boat. Welcome aboard! Let's kick things off with some welcome drinks and gather at the restaurant for a cruise briefing and safety instructions.

13:00: Enjoy lunch as we cruise and explore Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay.

14:15: We'll head to Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island by bus. Situated in Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest surrounding the cave, Trung Trang Cave is a 300m-long marvel, boasting a mysterious beauty shaped by geological tectonics over millions of years. It's adorned with stalactites in various forms, sparking imagination and amazement.

17:00: Orchid Cruises enters a less populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Take a refreshing swim in the green, emerald water.

18:00: Onboard, join a cooking demonstration and savor Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while enjoying the bay's sunset views. Optional massage service available; please book directly with our Cruise Manager.

19:15: Delight in a fusion dinner made with the freshest ingredients in an elegant setting blending French neoclassical style with traditional oriental touches.

21:00: Take in the beauty of the bay at night. Our bar on the sundeck and in the restaurant welcomes you. Consider trying your luck with squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant, or enjoy a game of chess or cards. Overnight on board.

06:30: Kickstarting the day early on Orchid Cruises with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Delight in a breakfast served in the dining room, offering a view of the bay’s morning landscape, setting the tone for our continued journey.

08:00: Transfer to the day boat for a visit to Viet Hai village. Embark on a bicycle trip along village paths, weaving through rainforests and a dark tunnel. Take in the breathtaking scenery of rice fields along the way. Pause at the village to unwind and explore an ancient local house crafted from straw, mud, and bamboo, offering a glimpse into the local life nestled in the valley. An optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

Return to the day boat for an exploration of Lan Ha Bay.

12:00: Indulge in a delectable lunch served on the day boat.

14:00: Venture to Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches islets); a tranquil spot with picturesque scenery, perfect for scenic kayaking or unwinding on a sandy beach.

17:00: Return to Orchid Cruises. Guests can partake in a cooking class, take a dip in the untouched area, or enjoy Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1) at the bar while witnessing the breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin.

19:30: Relish a Fusion Dinner featuring delightful local cuisine expertly prepared by our onboard catering staff. The intimate and romantic setting adds to the charm.

21:30: Take in the bay's nighttime panorama from the top deck. Unwind while enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, catch a movie in the restaurant, or consider indulging in a massage service available. Direct bookings can be made with the Cruise Manager (refer to the massage menu).

Overnight on board.  

06:30: It's a perfect time to refresh and immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck. If you want to catch the dawn, rise between 5:30 and 6:00, depending on the season, and consult our sailors.

07:00: Enjoy breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise.

07:45: Kayaking activities in the Ao Ech area will uncover the hidden charm of Ha Long - Lan Ha Bay.

09:30: Orchid Cruises welcomes you back on board, and it's time for checking out.

10:00: Relish a delightful brunch at our restaurant while cruising back.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina. Our driver will meet you there and bring you back to Hanoi. You are expected to arrive back in Hanoi at about 2:30 - 3:00 PM. End of service.
