If transport is included, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the heart of Hanoi. From there, we’ll begin our journey to Halong City, enjoying a scenic drive through the picturesque Red River Delta. The trip takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, with a convenient stop along the way for restrooms if needed.

Upon your arrival at Tuan Chau port, a tender will transport you to the luxurious Heritage Line Violet. Violet then sets sail into the remote and pristine waters of Bai Tu Long Bay—a quieter, less-visited extension of Halong Bay renowned for its untouched beauty, serenity, and dramatic limestone karsts.

To kick off your voyage, join a short welcome presentation by the cruise director, offering fascinating insights into the rich history, legends, and local traditions of the region. Afterward, enjoy your free time relaxing on the sun deck or your private balcony as the ship glides deeper into the bay's unspoiled landscapes.

In the afternoon, our first excursion takes place in the scenic Tra San area. Here, you will explore the calm, emerald waters by kayak, weaving through towering limestone cliffs in one of the bay’s most peaceful and secluded corners.

Back onboard, unwind and savor a multi-course à la carte dinner in the restaurant before the ship moors overnight in this tranquil marine sanctuary.

Early risers are greeted with freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries, followed by a rejuvenating Tai Chi session on the terrace deck.

After breakfast, we explore the prehistoric Thien Canh Son Cave. A gentle hike of around 100 steps leads through impressive stalactites and stalagmites, revealing the bay’s ancient geological history and rewarding you with a stunning scenic viewpoint at the cave exit. Next, we visit the historic Vung Vieng floating fishing village, where local families engage in fish and oyster farming, and a local host shares fascinating insights into daily life in this unique waterside community.

Back onboard, lunch is served as the ship sails westward. The early afternoon features an engaging onboard workshop or presentation hosted by the crew, offering deeper insight into the region’s heritage. Time is then set aside to unwind at a secluded beach, where you can swim in emerald waters, enjoy sundowner drinks with canapés, or simply take in the bay as the magical "blue hour" settles over the limestone scenery.

After dinner, gather for a cosy movie night before ending your day in pure comfort.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Afterward, enjoy a leisurely time relaxing in your suite or on the deck as the ship glides back toward the marina, taking in the ever-changing beauty of Halong Bay before disembarkation.
