Ocean 08 Private Cruise | Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay 3 days 2 nights

7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: If you book a transfer with us (either a shuttle bus or a private car), our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or from our designated shuttle bus stop. We'll then begin a scenic journey to Cat Ba Island. The transfer time is approximately 2-3 hours, including reaching Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. From there, you'll board a ferry that will take you across the bay, followed by another short drive to Cat Ba Island.

12:00 – 12:10 PM: Arrive at Cai Beo Cruise Port, where our friendly staff will greet you warmly.  

12:30 – 1:00 PM: Board the boat, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, and receive a brief introduction about the cruise.  

1:15 – 2:30 PM: Savor a delicious lunch as we cruise into the captivating Lan Ha Bay, passing by stunning limestone formations.  

3:00 – 5:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the beauty of the bay with activities like exploring Ba Trai Dao or Dau Be. Choose between kayaking to get close to the dramatic karsts, swimming in crystal-clear waters, or taking a tender boat to navigate the picturesque surroundings. For a more relaxing option, lounge on a secluded beach and soak in the tranquility.

5:30 – 7:15 PM: Return to the boat to refresh and unwind. Enjoy some downtime on the sundeck before taking part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Later, indulge in a flavorful BBQ dinner on board.  

After dinner, relax under the stars on the sundeck or sip cocktails at the bar. For those feeling adventurous, try squid fishing or kayak out to see the mesmerizing bioluminescent plankton. 

6:30 – 7:00 AM: Start the day with a rejuvenating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.  

7:30 – 8:00 AM: Relish a light breakfast with tea or coffee while soaking in the morning views of the bay.  

8:30 – 10:30 AM: Transfer to a day boat and cruise through Halong Bay's heart, passing Tra Bau and Gia Luan. Discover the geological wonders of this UNESCO-recognized site.  

10:30 AM – 2:00 PM: Paddle through hidden lagoons and a geological park on a kayaking adventure. Enjoy lunch onboard the day boat, and take a refreshing swim in the pristine waters. Embrace the untouched beauty of nature at its finest.  

2:00 – 3:00 PM: Return to the main boat to relax and enjoy some quiet time.  

7:20 PM: Delight in a sumptuous dinner, followed by another serene evening onboard. Participate in optional activities like squid fishing or exploring the glowing plankton by kayak. Stay overnight on the boat, enveloped by the bay’s peaceful ambiance. 

6:30 – 7:00 AM: Begin your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, surrounded by the bay's morning calm.  

7:00 – 7:50 AM: Sip on tea or coffee as you take in the morning views. Enjoy a hearty breakfast as we cruise toward the Viet Hai fishing village. It is a peaceful and secluded community surrounded by lush greenery and towering limestone mountains. Known for its traditional charm, the village offers visitors a glimpse into the simple, harmonious lifestyle of the local people.

8:00 – 9:30 AM: Explore Viet Hai Village by bicycle or electric car. Experience the serene local life and breathe in the fresh air as you wander through lush greenery and traditional village scenes.  

10:00 AM: Return to the boat and check out of your cabin. Enjoy a leisurely lunch while cruising back toward the port.  

11:45 – 12:00 PM: Disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port, taking home cherished memories of your journey. Thank you for joining us on this unforgettable trip through Lan Ha Bay. We hope to see you again soon!

If the transfer is included, our driver will pick you up at the pier. From there, we will return to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 1 hour to reach Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. From there, you will board the ferry to cross the bay, followed by another 2-hour drive to arrive back in Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.
