Hanoi - Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay 170km - 4h
Journey to Cat Ba Island, board at Beo Port, and cruise through the serene Lan Ha Bay.
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: If you book a transfer with us (either a shuttle bus or a private car), our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or from our designated shuttle bus stop. We'll then begin a scenic journey to Cat Ba Island. The transfer time is approximately 2-3 hours, including reaching Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. From there, you'll board a ferry that will take you across the bay, followed by another short drive to Cat Ba Island.
12:00 – 12:10: Our Ocean Cruise team warmly welcomes you at Cai Beo Cruise Port and assists with embarkation.
12:30 – 13:00: Settle into the boat, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a short briefing about the cruise program and safety regulations.
13:15 – 14:30: Lunch is served on board as the cruise sails toward Lan Ha Bay. Relax and admire the peaceful scenery and impressive limestone formations along the way.
15:00 – 17:00: As the cruise sails deeper into the bay, we visit Ba Trai Dao or Dau Be (subject to conditions). During this time, you will learn more about the geography of the region. You may choose to kayak closer to the towering limestone karsts or take a tender boat to explore the surrounding area. In warmer weather, there is also time for swimming in the clear emerald waters or relaxing on the untouched beach, enjoying the bay’s tranquil atmosphere.
17:30 – 19:15: Return to the cruise for some relaxation on the sundeck. Enjoy a Vietnamese traditional cooking demonstration before a BBQ dinner on board.
After dinner: Relax on the sundeck or sip a drink at the bar.
Free evening to enjoy squid fishing or kayaking to observe plankton.
Overnight on board.

Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay
Visit Viet Hai Village, explore Tien Duc Cave, experience a local house, and continue discovering Lan Ha Bay.
Around 05:00: Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the bay, creating a peaceful morning scene.
06:30 – 07:00: Morning exercise with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
07:30 – 08:00: Enjoy breakfast with tea or coffee while taking in the morning views of Lan Ha Bay.
08:30 – 10:00: After breakfast, visit Viet Hai Village by bicycle, exploring the quiet village and local surroundings.
10:00: Walk through Cat Ba National Park, visit Tien Duc Cave, then arrive at an ancient local house to enjoy lunch with local residents.
13:30 – 14:00: Return to the pier. The cruise then sails toward the Dau Be area.
15:00: Enjoy kayaking or swimming before heading back to Lan Ha Bay for the night. Take time to watch the sunset on the sundeck.
19:20: Dinner is served on board.
After dinner: Free evening to relax or join squid fishing or kayaking to see plankton.

Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi 170km - 4h
Visit a floating house, check out, and transfer back to Hanoi.
Morning: Start your day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck.
Around 07:00: Breakfast on board.
08:00: The cruise continues sailing further through Lan Ha Bay, getting closer to the most beautiful islets and rock formations. Visit a floating house where local people raise fish.
10:00: Return to the cruise. Time to freshen up and shower before checking out of your cabin as the boat heads back to Cai Beo pier.
11:45 – 12:00: Disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port.
If the transfer is included, our driver will pick you up at the pier. From there, we will return to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 1 hour to reach Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. From there, you will board the ferry to cross the bay, followed by another 2-hour drive to arrive back in Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.

Absolutely stunning
The boat is beautifully crafted, and carries an authentic charm throughout. The view from the cabin is absolutely stunning. It’s the sort of scene you find yourself gazing at for far longer than you planned. The meals prepared by the chefs are excellent, with real care put into every dish. The crew are attentive, courteous, and quietly efficient, always there when needed without ever intruding. Experiencing the bay in such a calm and serene atmosphere feels truly special, almost as if time slows down for a while. I would be very glad to recommend this cruise.

Trois jours à bord du Cat Ba Ocean 07
Seulement 9 cabines, une ambiance intime, loin des bateaux bondés. On a découvert des plages désertes, fait du kayak sans croiser personne et nagé dans une eau calme comme un miroir. Le village flottant m’a vraiment donné l’impression de toucher la vraie vie locale. Les repas, simplement délicieux, frais et typiquement vietnamiens
