Ocean 07 Cruise | Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay 3 days 2 nights

7:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up either from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or our shuttle bus stop if your accommodation is located outside the Old Quarter (an additional fee applies). We'll then begin a scenic journey to Cat Ba Island. The transfer time is approximately 2-3 hours, including reaching Dong Bai Ferry Terminal. From there, you'll board a ferry that will take you across the bay, followed by another short drive to Cat Ba Island.

12:00 – 12:10 PM: A warm welcome awaits you at Cai Beo Cruise Port.

12:30 – 1:00 PM: Board the boat, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink, and receive a brief introduction to your cruise.

1:15 – 2:30 PM: Savor a delicious lunch as we glide through the captivating scenery of Lan Ha Bay, marveling at the stunning limestone formations. Lan Ha Bay is a breathtaking extension of the renowned Halong Bay, offering a serene escape from the crowds. Known for its emerald-green waters and over 300 towering limestone islets, the bay is a haven of unspoiled beauty.

3:00 – 5:00 PM: As we journey deeper into the bay, explore the iconic Ba Trai Dao or Dau Be area. You can kayak to get up close to the towering karsts, take a tender boat to navigate through the breathtaking landscapes, or, during warmer weather, swim in the crystal-clear emerald waters. Bask in the tranquility by kayaking or relaxing on a secluded beach.

5:30 – 7:15 PM: Return to the boat to freshen up, unwind on the sundeck, and enjoy a live Vietnamese cooking demonstration. Indulge in a delectable BBQ dinner onboard.

After dinner, spend the evening your way—relax on the sundeck, sip a drink at the bar, try squid fishing, or embark on a nighttime kayak to see the magical bioluminescent plankton.

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the bay, a magical moment to start your day.

6:30 – 7:00 AM: Energize with a morning Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

7:30 – 8:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast with coffee or tea while taking in the serene morning views of the bay.

8:30 – 10:00 AM: Embark on a bike ride through Viet Hai Village, nestled in the heart of Cat Ba Island. It is a peaceful and secluded community surrounded by lush greenery and towering limestone mountains. Known for its traditional charm, the village offers visitors a glimpse into the simple, harmonious lifestyle of the local people.

10:00 AM: Venture into Cat Ba National Park, where you’ll visit the fascinating Tien Duc Cave. Afterwards, share a traditional lunch with locals in an ancient house, offering a unique cultural experience.

1:30 – 2:00 PM: Return to the pier as the cruise sets sail toward the scenic Dau Be area.

3:00 PM: Dive into adventure with kayaking or swimming in the pristine waters before heading back to Lan Ha Bay for the evening. Enjoy the sunset from the sundeck—a picture-perfect end to the day.

7:20 PM: Relish a delightful dinner and spend another night onboard.

Evening options: Unwind with squid fishing, kayaking under the stars to see glowing plankton, or simply relax under the starlit sky.

Begin your morning with a serene Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

7:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast as the boat sails further into Lan Ha Bay, offering more spectacular views of the islets and rock formations.

8:00 AM: Visit a traditional floating house and learn how locals farm fish in the bay.

10:00 AM: Return to the boat to freshen up and pack before checking out of your cabin.

11:45 – 12:00 PM: Disembark at Cai Beo Cruise Port, bringing your unforgettable journey to a close.

You will be picked up by our driver and transferred you to Hanoi (additional fees apply). The journey takes approximately 1 hour to reach Cai Vieng Ferry Terminal. From there, you will board the ferry to cross the bay, followed by another 2-hour drive to arrive back in Hanoi. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.
