Rita Cruise | Lan Ha Bay 3 days 2 nights

8:00 – 8:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or our Shuttle Bus stop (if you have booked the transfer with us - an additional fee applies). We'll then embark on a scenic drive to Halong City. The transfer takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, with an optional restroom stop along the way.

11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00 – 12:30: Transfer by speedboat to Rita Cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink as you meet the captain and crew for a brief introduction to the cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in to your cabin.

13:00 – 13:30: Enjoy a Vietnamese seafood buffet or set menu lunch while cruising through the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations. Continue cruising through Con Vit Islet (Duck Islet), Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor in the Cat Ba area.

15:00: Take in the stunning views of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters towards Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi). Participate in outdoor activities, choosing between kayaking or a bamboo boat ride for about an hour.

16:00: The ship moves to the Tra Bau area, arriving around 16:50. Here, you are free to swim around the boat for about 45 minutes.

17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy happy hour with our “Buy 2, get 1 free” drink program at the Mimosa Cafe Lounge and the Sky Bar on the 5th floor.

18:30 – 19:10: Join a cooking class guided by the chef of Rita Cruise. You'll have the chance to practice making traditional Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls or other famous Vietnamese cuisine.

19:10 – 19:30: Dinner will be served at the restaurant on the 4th floor.

After dinner, you have free time to participate in nightlife activities such as squid fishing on the 1st floor, listening to music, enjoying drinks, or singing karaoke in our special room on the 5th floor.  

Today, we will delve deeper into Lan Ha Bay using our Small Day-Boat, cruising through various islands and islets, and visiting hidden beaches. Our itinerary includes a short bicycle ride to Viet Hai village, an isolated village in the heart of Cat Ba National Park.

06:45: Breakfast is ready at the restaurant. You can wake up late today and have breakfast before departure. Please be at the reception by 08:30 at the latest.

08:20-08:45: You will be transferred to the Small Day-Boat and head south of Lan Ha Bay towards Viet Hai village. Note that you will spend the entire day in the village and on the Day-Boat, returning to Rita Cruise around 16:00 – 16:30.

09:00: The Small Day-Boat will cruise through Lan Ha Bay before disembarking at Viet Hai dock.

10:00: Enjoy a short 5 km cycling trip to Viet Hai village – a small village in the midst of the jungle, surrounded by the high mountain ranges of Cat Ba National Park. This area has become popular with foreign tourists without attracting mass tourism, preserving its rustic charm. For those who prefer not to cycle, an electric car will be provided.

11:30: Return to the dock and board the Small Day-Boat again to sail further to the other side of Lan Ha Bay.

12:00: Enjoy lunch with a beautiful view.

13:00 – 14:00: Kayak around Tai Keo cave area, a tunnel cave leading to a lake resembling a “Dragon eye”.

14:00 – 14:30: Visit some hidden beaches around the Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) area.

14:30 – 15:30: You are free to swim in this beautiful and clean area.

16:00-16:30: Transfer back to Rita Cruise, take time to refresh, enjoy the jacuzzi pool, or kayak and swim around the boat.

17:15: Rita Cruise will move to the overnight anchoring area.

18:00: Enjoy a tea break on the sundeck under the beautiful sunset.

18:15: Join our cooking class on the sundeck, where you will learn to make deep-fried spring rolls.

19:00: Dinner is served.

After dinner, treat yourself to a large selection of cocktails* at our bar, explore the wine* and cigars* cellar, or enjoy the nighttime landscape of the bay. Engage in on-board activities like squid fishing, watching TV in your room, or simply relaxing. Stay overnight on Rita Cruise.

06:30 - 07:00: Optional Tai Chi exercise on the 5th-floor sundeck to welcome the new day.

07:00 - 07:45: Enjoy the morning view of the bay's landscape with a cup of tea or coffee, followed by breakfast at our restaurant.

08:00: The ship passes by the Frog Pond area, where the Hollywood blockbuster movie "King Kong" was filmed. Guests can go sea swimming or kayaking for 45 minutes around the mother boat.

09:30: Return to your cabin, relax, and carefully check your luggage before leaving. Check out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete the check-out procedure.

10:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch on the cruise while heading towards the port.

11:00 - 11:20: Return to Tuan Chau pier by tender boat. Farewell.

Our driver will greet you at the Cruise Waiting Lounge and transfer you to Hanoi (additional fees applied). The journey takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, with a restroom stop available along the way (optional). You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.
