Le Journey Boutique Cruise | Lan Ha Bay 3 days 2 nights

8:00 – 8:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or our Shuttle Bus stop (if you have booked the transfer with us - an additional fee applies). We'll then embark on a scenic drive to Halong City. The transfer takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, with an optional restroom stop along the way.

11:30 – 12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:00: Transfer to Le Journey Cruise by tender. Warmly welcome to Le Journey Cruises! While enjoying a welcome drink, our cruise manager will deliver a cruise briefing and safety introduction. After that, you will check into your cabin.

13:00: A fabulous lunch is served as Le Journey Cruise begins its sail into the magnificent Ha Long Bay – an extension of Halong Wonder that is much quieter and has fewer tourists. You will pass famous landmarks such as Finger Islet, Candle Islet, and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:30: You have the option to swim at Ba Trai Dao beach, if weather permits or our small boat will take you to visit a fishing village named “Tra Bau” where you can join a kayaking experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.

17:00 – 18:00: Return to Le Journey Boutique Cruises and relax on board. It's time for sunset in Lan Ha Bay. There’s something magical about sunsets – not only the colors but the feeling, the atmosphere, and the temperature. Enjoy our “Sunset Party” and “Happy Hour Deal.”

A cooking demonstration is an onboard activity that helps passengers sample fine cuisine while learning more about Vietnamese culinary culture. Our cruise chef will show and guide you in making traditional Vietnamese dishes such as fresh or dried spring rolls and/or how to carve different kinds of vegetables and fruits.

19:00: Enjoy dinner with delicious local food prepared and served by our wonderful onboard catering staff. The night view of Lan Ha Bay is incredible.

21:00 – 23:00: Enjoy overnight activities on board such as squid fishing, fabulous drinks at our bars, movies, spa therapy, or simply relaxing in your room. Overnight on Le Journey Cruise.  

06:00 - 07:00: Le Journey Cruise continues passing amazing karst towers. Tea, coffee, and a light breakfast are served, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:30: You will be transferred to the day tour cruise to explore further than Lan Ha Bay. Begin your journey to discover Viet Hai village, a peaceful village with stunning scenery, by bike. Ride through vast rice fields, stop to rest, and visit an old house made from straw, mud, and bamboo to learn about the lives of local people.

12:00: Return to the day tour cruise. Enjoy a variety of dishes for lunch at the restaurant.

14:00: The cruise takes you to Ba Trai Dao Beach, a pristine area considered the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with its natural white sand. It's very quiet with fewer tourists, allowing you to swim freely or participate in kayaking activities.

16:30: Return to Le Journey Cruise. Watch the sunset over Lan Ha Bay, listen to soothing or vibrant music, and sip a cocktail*.

19:15: Enjoy dinner at the restaurant on Le Journey Cruise.

20:45 – 00:00: Experience the nightlife of Halong Bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a cocktail* from the bar, sing karaoke, and relax on the cruise. Alternatively, you can fish for squid with the sailors or simply relax in your room and watch Halong Bay from the balcony. Overnight on Le Journey Cruise.

06:00 - 07:00: Le Journey Cruise continues passing amazing karst towers. Tea, coffee, and a light breakfast are served amidst fresh air and peaceful surroundings.

08:00: We will visit the Dark and Bright Cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and the poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here, you can take photos of the romantic, lyrical local sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoy a bamboo boat ride or kayaking, an interesting activity to discover the true beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.

09:00: Return to the boat for check-out.

10:00: While a well-prepared lunch is served, our cruise slowly navigates through the emerald water and past thousands of karst mountains towards the harbor.

11:00: You arrive back at Tuan Chau port, marking the end of an unforgettable trip.  

Our driver will greet you at the Cruise Waiting Lounge and transfer you to Hanoi (additional fees applied). The journey takes approximately 2.5-3 hours, with a restroom stop available along the way (optional). You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or at our Shuttle Bus stop.
