Join us on this 6-day journey to discover the highlights of central Vietnam, including the enchanting ancient town of Hoi An, a bamboo basket boat ride, a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River, exploration of Hue's Imperial Citadel, and a visit to a royal tomb. Upon your arrival at Da Nang airport, our local driver will greet you and transfer you to your accommodation in Hoi An, a journey of approximately 1 hour. Once you reach your hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

2:30 PM: Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Hoi An ancient town. From there, we’ll set off for our exploration.
First, you'll visit the bustling Hoi An Market, a vibrant hub full of sights, colors, sounds, and smells—an unmissable shopping experience. Next, you'll explore the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful blend of bright gates, dragon statues, and elaborate rooftops. Here, you'll get an introduction to ancestor worship, visiting the family altar and observing local devotees making offerings.
You’ll also visit remarkably well-preserved old houses like the Phung Hung Ancient House or the Tan Ky Ancient House, both of which have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who once lived here, trading with buyers from around the world.
Afterward, head to the Museum of Folk Culture in Hoi An, where artifacts depict ancient local daily life in a 150-year-old Chinese merchant house. Don’t miss the art performances at the Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.
Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge, which spans a small waterway and was built over 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese residents on the other side. Admire the intricate carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.
Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and art galleries. Explore smaller laneways and local neighborhoods, deepening your appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.
End your day with a boat ride, where you can release a flower lantern to pray for good luck for you and your family. You’ll be immersed in the magical ambiance of the lantern-lit streets. The tour concludes at 6:00 PM.
3:00 PM: Our friendly tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An Ancient Town. From there, we’ll transfer to Cam Thanh village.
Upon arrival, you'll meet local fishermen and get a firsthand look at their daily lives. Experience traditional fishing methods with both round nets and cast nets, guided by the local fishermen. Learn to paddle a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and even join in on a basket boat race. You'll also enjoy a basket boat performance. Try your hand at crab catching and net casting.
Afterward, we'll head back to a fisherman’s house for a cooking show, featuring a fire performance by the master chef. If you're interested, you can even step in as the chef yourself.
Next, we'll enjoy a meal of local dishes. Finally, we'll transfer you back to your hotel in Hoi An.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the heart of Hoi An. From there, we’ll head to Hue, passing through Da Nang. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, taking you along some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in central Vietnam, including My Khe Beach, fishing villages, the Hai Van Pass, and Lang Co Lagoon. Upon arrival in Hue, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
8:00 - 8:30 AM: Our friendly tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hue City. If you're staying outside the city center, you can either arrange your own transportation to our designated departure point or opt for our convenient pick-up service for an additional fee. Once everyone is on board, we'll begin our exploration.
We'll start by cruising down the Perfume River on a traditional dragon boat to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue. The peaceful 30-minute boat ride in the morning is the perfect way to kick off the day, with the fresh river air providing a refreshing start to your journey.
Next, we’ll visit the Hue Imperial Citadel, the former home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty—the Nguyen Dynasty. After exploring the Citadel, we’ll drive to Dong Ba Market, the busiest market in Hue, where you can experience the vibrant local culture and pick up some unique souvenirs for friends and family.
For lunch, we'll enjoy some delicious Hue specialties, followed by a short rest. Then, continue your journey with a visit to the royal tombs, starting with a relaxing herbal foot bath—a special treat just for you!
We'll explore Khai Dinh King’s Tomb, an intriguing blend of Western and Eastern architectural styles, and Minh Mang King’s Tomb, known for its majestic design that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding landscape.
On our way back, we'll make a stop at a conical hat village and an incense stick village, where you'll have the chance to try your hand at making these traditional crafts with local artisans.
4:00 – 5:00 PM: We’ll return to your hotel, marking the end of our tour.
Our driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel in Hue City and take you to Phu Bai Airport. The drive takes approximately 45-60 minutes, whether you're heading to the international or domestic terminal, depending on your needs.
