Song Xanh Sampan Private Cruise | Cai Be - Chau Doc 3 days 2 nights

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and transfer you to Cai Be (additional charges apply). Enjoy the scenic drive through small towns, countryside villages, and lush green fields along the way. The transfer takes about 3 hours, with an optional stop en route.

Your journey begins at Phu An Jetty at 10:00 AM. Kick off the trip with a scenic bicycle ride through the serene countryside, concluding at the elegant Le Longanier Restaurant. Here, you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch in a charming colonial-style villa surrounded by a lush tropical garden by the river.  

After lunch, embark on a leisurely cruise along the picturesque waterways of the Mekong Delta. Along the way, you’ll stop to discover local cottage industries, including a clay pot factory that sustains the livelihoods of the river communities.  

Upon reaching Sa Dec, step ashore to explore the vibrant outdoor market and visit the historic home of a real-life character from Marguerite Duras’s acclaimed novel and film, "The Lover".  

As evening falls, a candlelit dinner awaits in this captivating house. Spend your first night aboard the Song Xanh, peacefully floating on the Tien River.

Breakfast is served on board as you cruise toward Long Xuyen along a picturesque narrow canal, passing by several charming "monkey bridges".

After a delightful lunch on board, you'll arrive in Long Xuyen and visit Tiger Island, the birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Return to the sampan for dinner, then continue your journey toward Chau Doc. The boat will sail until around 10:00 PM before anchoring for the night.

Breakfast is served on board as your sampan glides toward Chau Doc, a town near the Cambodian border and the gateway to Phnom Penh. Renowned across Vietnam for its stunning pagodas and temples, Chau Doc is also home to the famous Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a breathtaking eucalyptus mangrove. You will disembark at the private pier of Victoria Chau Doc at around 10:00 am.
