Song Xanh Sampan Private Cruise | Cai Be - Rach Gia 3 days 2 nights

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and transfer you to Cai Be (additional charges apply). Enjoy the scenic drive through small towns, countryside villages, and lush green fields along the way. The transfer takes about 3 hours, with an optional stop en route.

Your journey begins at Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am. Start the day with a scenic bicycle ride, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the charm of this serene rural area. The ride concludes at Le Longanier Restaurant, where lunch will be served in an elegant colonial-style villa nestled in a lush tropical garden by the river. 

After lunch, step aboard the Song Xanh Sampan for a leisurely cruise along the bustling waterways of the Mekong Delta. Along the way, you'll stop to visit local cottage industries, including a clay pot factory that sustains the livelihoods of the river communities. 

Upon arriving in Sa Dec, disembark to explore the vibrant outdoor market and visit the historic house of a real-life figure from Marguerite Duras’s renowned novel and film “The Lover”. 

As evening falls, a candlelit dinner will be served in this iconic house. Conclude your day with your first night aboard the Song Xanh, anchored on the tranquil Tien River.

Breakfast is served on board as you cruise along narrow canals toward Long Xuyen, passing rustic monkey bridges and picturesque countryside scenery. After savoring lunch on board, you’ll arrive in Long Xuyen to explore Tiger Island, the birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Return to the sampan for dinner and continue cruising toward Rach Gia. Relax and enjoy your second night on board.  

Arrive in Rach Gia at around 7:00 am, the capital of Kien Giang Province, located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Breakfast is served on board before disembarkation. For travelers traveling early to Phu Quoc, we can serve breakfast as early as 6:00 am.
