Join us for a 3-night adventure through the stunning rice terraces of Hoang Su Phi in Ha Giang province. This fully-guided trip includes 2 nights at Panhou Retreat and 1 night in a local homestay with the Red Dao ethnic group, offering a perfect blend of comfort and authentic experiences. Each day, you'll hike 15-18 km, spending about 5-6 hours exploring beautiful mountain landscapes and lush tea plantations while immersing yourself in the rich culture of various Vietnamese ethnic groups. If you're seeking breathtaking rice terraces, mountain scenery, vibrant ethnic culture, and off-the-beaten-path adventures, this trip is for you.
- Transfer from Hanoi to Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang
8:30 AM: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. We will then head to Thong Nguyen, one of the 23 communes in the Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang province. It's approximately a 6-7 hour journey from Hanoi. Upon reaching Thong Nguyen around 3:00 PM, you will check in at your accommodation and take some time to familiarize yourself with the surroundings.

9:00 AM: Depart from your accommodation with your local guide to explore the nearby mountains, trekking through tropical forests and rice terraces. After a three-hour hike, take a break in a Red Dao village for lunch. Out of necessity, the villagers have sculpted the mountainside and utilized its watercourses to grow rice. These laborious adjustments enable them to live at higher altitudes and provide you with unique landscapes to contemplate. The cooler climate and abundant fresh water also contribute to the growth of lush tea trees.
After a two-hour walk in the afternoon, you will reach another Red Dao village where we will stop for the night. Spend the rest of the day on a short stroll to explore the village, allowing you to discover the local vegetation, meet the local people, and observe their daily activities.

After bidding farewell to your host, continue your day by walking through cassava fields, forests, and tea plantations toward the valley. After approximately three hours of walking, take a break for lunch at Nam Nghi, another Red Dao village.
In the afternoon, you'll hike for about two more hours, reaching the Lang Giang Valley around mid-afternoon, where you will arrive and check into your accommodation.

Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Thong Nguyen and bring you back to Hanoi. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours, and you are expected to arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
