Explore Yok Don National Forest - one of Vietnam's largest endemic conservation areas. Activities of trekking / cycling, excursion to village of minority people and elephant riding.
8:00 AM: Pick up by guide and depart to Yok Don National Park, 40km away Buon Ma Thuot city in the west to Cambodia border.
Yokdon National Park, the largest of Vietnam’s nature reserves, has been gradually expanded and today encompasses 115,000 hectares of mainly dry open forest of dipterocarps. The park runs all the way up to the border with Cambodia, with the beautiful Srepok River flowing through it
On arrival, visit the office, introduced about the park’s general information.
There are two options for tour:
Option 1: Start trekking about 8km to the cascade of Budda (guests can have swim). Relax and have picnic at Ranger station. Continue trekking to the river then crossing by boat to visit the village of Jang Lanh and cemetery. Elephant riding for 30 minutes. Back to Buon Ma Thuot, on the way stop to have a look of coffee and pepper gardens and visit Khai Doan pagoda.
Option 2: Start cycling through forest about 8km to the cascade of Budda (guests can have a swim). Relax and have picnic at Ranger station. Continue cycling to Daklau stream and back to the office. Visit the village of Jang Lanh and cemetary. Elephant riding for 30 minutes. Back to Buon Ma Thuot, on the way stop to have a look of coffee and pepper gardens and visit Khai Doan pagoda.
End of the day, drop off at your hotel.
