1. Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc by flight

This type of transportation is the most convenient because you only need one fly route straight from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc. Currently, domestic routes have direct flights to Phu Quoc from Hanoi, Hai Phong, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Most flights are still from Hanoi and Saigon.

2. Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc by road and then by sea line

Besides flight, you can move from Ho Chi Minh City to Phu Quoc by road and sea line. That means you move by bus, car, or motorbike (by road) to Rach Gia or Ha Tien and then take a high-speed boat to Phu Quoc Island.

2.1 First part: by road:
You could transfer by private car or bus from Saigon to Rach Gia or Ha Tien
- Private car from Saigon:

Usually, tourists choose private cars to combine with some other tourist destinations such as Ben Tre, Can Tho, and Rach Gia before arriving in Phu Quoc. Or Saigon – Ha Tien – Phu Quoc
The price for a private car is 1.800.000 VND/day (sedan or SUV car) for a program of 3 days.

- Bus from Saigon:
