How to Get from Ho Chi Minh City to Con Dao Island?

When people talk about Con Dao island, the first thing that comes to mind is the scary prisons and the traumatic past associated with the island's history. However, Con Dao has become a popular tourist destination in recent years due to its clear blue sea, white sand beaches, and fresh air. 2. From Ho Chi Minh to Con Dao by sea

From Saigon, tourists will transfer to Mien Dong bus station and then take a two-hour bus to Vung Tau. The bus ticket is about 160.000 VND. They can also book a high-speed boat from Bach Dang port (10B Ton Duc Thang str, District 1, HCM city) to Vung Tau. Tourists will choose a high-speed boat from Vung Tau to Con Dao island. This is a safe vehicle with many interesting experiences on the sea. The disadvantages are that the high-speed boat will depart very early, and tourists must also use other transfers from Con Dao port to the hotel on Con Dao island.
