Vietnam Central Highland Discovery (From Da Lat to Hoi An) - 07 Days

Welcome by tour guide and driver at the airport to Da Lat – the city for Love located 1,500m (4,900 ft) above sea level on the Langbian Plateau in the southern parts of the Central Highlands region.

Continue the day, visit Crazy house, Bao Dai's summer palace, for an insight into the daily life of the last Vietnamese Emperor and his family.

Dinner and overnight in Da Lat

8:00 AM: Spend a day to explore the charming Da Lat city. Visit French colonist railway station and experience in a short train journey to Trai Mat visiting Linh Phuoc pagoda.

Continue visiting the City flower gardens, with a profusion of colorful blooms, including flowers rarely seen elsewhere in Vietnam.

Have a break for lunch then visit the Truc Lam monastery and Tuyen Lam lake.

Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight in Da Lat.

8:00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy stunning drive from Da Lat to Lak Lake. Stop at your recommend for witness the landscape and taking photos.

In the afternoon, enjoy an elephant ride across the lake and a canoe trip on the lake. Explore the native villages of the M’nong hill tribe in Jun, Le villages. Join in the Gong music show with rice wine drinking with the M’Nong people.

Later we drive up to the hill top to visit Bao Dai villa, a historic relic of the former Emperor Bao Dai with an overlooking the views of lake, the town and fishing village.

8:00 AM: In the morning, drive back to Buon Ma Thuot and visit Daklak Museum with Ethnography, bio-diversification and history. Witness the landscape of Draysap waterfall. Away 30km from Buon Ma Thuot City, Draysap as E-de language means the Misty waterfall. The misty is by the its water falls from about 30m height, 100m length creating an amazing veil of mist. 

Walk along the path leading up to the fresh stream where guests can have swim. Learn about the flora in the forest and have nice pictures of mushroom and long houses-on-stilts.

In the afternoon, transfer to Don Village which is located 55 km to the northwest of Buon Ma Thuot on the banks of the Srepok River, visit the tomb of elephant King, ancient house, M’Nong people cemetary and the 300m bamboo suspension bridge over the Serepok River.

8:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel then visit Trung Nguyen coffee museum and garden: you can explore a cultural space of coffee, utensils, objects on coffee and several varieties: Arabica, Robusta, Liberia (drinks at your own).

Enjoy your drive to Pleiku with lunch at local restaurant on the way.

In the afternoon we will visit Minh Thanh pagoda, T’Nung Lake (famous for the volcanic crater) and local market.

Dinner and overnight in Pleiku.

8:00 AM: Start the day by visit tea plantations and the villages of J’rai people on the way to Kon Tum.

In the afternoon, have an excursion to the wooden church and Vinh Son Orphanage, Kon Tum seminary, Konklovillage with Rong house and suspension bridge.

8:00 AM: After breakfast at hotel, say goodbye the Central highland, enjoy the leisurely drive on the historic Ho Chi Minh trails to Hoi An – the ancient town located on the coast.

On the way, visit Sedang village and Dakto, a major battlefield during the American war with Phoenix airfield…Lunch on route.

Arrive in Hoi An at the late afternoon. Finish the tour
